The soul of Community of Trees, Giannis, lost the battle with the illness that had afflicted him for the past two years. Our grief is immense.
The soul of Community of Trees, Giannis, lost the battle with the illness that had afflicted him for the past two years. Our grief is immense. The void left by his physical absence is irreplaceable, but his spirit and his deep love for trees and forests remain within us, empowering us even more.
At the upcoming Ecology Festival, we will dedicate a special tribute to Giannis’ environmental and artistic work.
We are deeply grateful to Sabrina Dalla Valle for her generous donation to our Tree Fund and for her willingness to travel all the way from the U.S. to Patmos to volunteer during our upcoming Ecofestival.
The funding will support the organisation of the 4th Patmos Ecology Festival and activities related to the next stage of the Koumas project.
